We accept the challenge of transforming Inner conflict Into external meaning.

Lauren Jackson, LCPC

To LIVE after Trauma and Grief was the smartest choice I've made Learning to LOVE as a Parent and Single Woman, feels freeing Having LIFE with Relational Purpose is a class all Its own After 35 years of life experience, 7 years of experience in field of mental health, 4 years as a Licensed Therapist, and continuing education as a 5th year doctoral student I have been able to create a program that eases the stigma of seeing a therapist. Through the recognition of new self-awareness, clients will work towards their goals through her directive and active guidance. She uses an integrative approach, encompassing Existential Theory with Gestalt techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoanalytic techniques. Lauren’s professional experience stems from a background in inpatient psychiatry, non-profit organizations, and trauma-informed care in an emergency setting. Her interests include stress reduction, barriers experienced in single motherhood, early behavior intervention, child/parent conflict, family dynamics, interpersonal conflicts, personality disorders, work/life/career balance, and trauma. Lauren is dedicated to creating an environment that allows the client to be grounded in meaning to exist, to experience, to emerge or to become. She believes the therapeutic rapport and collaborative efforts in therapy will allow the clients to see inner wholeness.

I believe in an integrative method that utilizes multiple tools to to customize a therapeutic experience that is made to fit the individual. I range from theories and techniques of Experiential, Person-Centered, CBT, and Gestalt.

Arvette Brown, LPC

I believe that each of us are in search of purpose. How we view our purpose is a collective of self perception and knowledge we’ve gained through experience; on both a macro and micro level. Those combined help us to navigate how we interact and react within the world on the daily basis. My goal is to amplify your voice so that you can live and lead the life you curated.

I am currently a provisionally licensed counselor who has a myriad of work experience and years of study in acute inpatient, case management, recidivism, school based therapy, and individual/group therapy. I find that my love is in working with children, youth, young adults and family systems with issues concerning but not limited to behavioral issues, self esteem, trauma, interpersonal conflicts, body image, anxiety, depression, grief, family dynamics, transitions, and identity issues.

I use evidence based practices such as person-centered theory, psychodynamic theory, family systems, and motivational interviewing. I know that each persons journey is different and should be tailored to them, how they identify, and how they show up in the world.

I look forward to sharing this very personal journey with you. So let’s heal and make it glorious. I am committed to meeting you where you are and respecting your perspective. I look forward to getting to know you.
